As a child whose mother was her piano teacher, I knew I needed an outside source for my own daughter for piano lessons. Miss Wendy was a great choice for us. My daughter has ADHD and so focusing for a 30 minute lesson was a challenge. Miss Wendy was ALWAYS patient with her, she was prepared with musical activities to break up the lesson and give my daughter a brain break. As a musician myself, I was able to provide the necessary support at home for my daughter to practice consistently so that she could progress and start new assignments during her lesson with Miss Wendy. Wendy utilized tracking tools for practice accountability at home and allowed her students to earn points based on progress in order to redeem them for fun treats and prizes. This was an essential motivating tool for my daughter. My daughter had multiple opportunities to perform during the year at recitals. Miss Wendy's pricing was very reasonable and lesson time availability was great! I loved being able to pay for lessons electronically just using my phone. Miss Wendy's home music studio was a safe and welcoming environment and she was even prepared with activities for my other little ones who occasionally had to join the lessons. Wendy is professional but so sweet and flexible. She is a great teacher for beginning piano students, young and old."
